Watching this video, the first thought that comes to your mind is either love, sacrifice, a compassionate spirit, or human kindness. And you'd be right. It is indeed a gratuitous undertaking worthy of a global award or humanitarian recognition.
However, there's something more to the video than compassion that prompted the author to write this piece: ambition and taking risks, amidst uncertainties.
When you have a dream or set a goal for yourself, you don't have to experience a chance, see a light in the tunnel, or wait endlessly, expecting unpredictable opportunities before taking action. JUST TAKE A DIVE.
Every Solution is a Process. However, it starts with Audacity, Courage, and Faith - believing in God, Allah, Ogun, or trusting your instinct.
In the words of Mr. Mark Zuckerberg: "Ideas don't come out fully formed, they only become clear as you work on them. You just have to get started."
When that young man sighted the dog in a perilous state in the canal, he instantaneously jumped into the floodwater to rescue it. How to escape or exit the flood after the rescue was never in his contemplation.
What was urgent in the circumstance or in his mind was first, taking a plunge and rescuing the dog from the unfriendly ferocious waves. And he took a dive, grabbed the dog, and headed toward safety. How? And that's the risk factor.
Eventually, more helping hands came, and luck manifested abundantly beyond his wildest imagination or expectations. 'The spirit of faith is a daring force.' God does not act in a vacuum. He intervenes and His luck manifests in our lives when our plans are definite and in motion.
Where are you today in your start-up? Still, contemplating or dilly-dallying on the right time to proceed? Just Take a Dive.
If you are still in doubt, please, watch the video again. And that, my friend, is a picture-perfect or vivid manifestation of the Zuckerberg Principle. And in the words of Mr. Steve Harvey - JUST JUMP.
