 FULFILLING DEVINE RIGHT 2023 - January 01, 2023

“What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell just as sweet.” William Shakespeare

I am not going to be a statistic. I'm in the Senatorial race to win it. If Labour is not a hindrance to Mr. Peter Obi, invariably, Accord shouldn't be a hindrance to Barr Alex Ehi Aidaghese.

My Senatorial ambition isn't motivated by greed or in hope of a juicer job after the election. I'm neither involved to strengthen my name recognition nor motivated by a desire to be in a comfortable position in the next electoral season.

None of the above. All that and more, God has blessed me with. This is an auspicious time to be involved in the rescue mission of Esanland, and I'm winning it. Therefore, find reasons to Stand by me, without reference to the name of my political party or label.

I AM AMONG THE TOP 1% OF THE MOST QUALIFIED CURRENT ASPIRANTS FOR THE SENATORIAL RACE. IN TERMS OF CREDIBILITY, INTEGRITY, INTELLIGENCE, OR PREPAREDNESS, I'M HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE THE CAST.

Granted that money talks, but the lack of it to share during the campaign shouldn't be a disqualification. If you play your part and donate and others play their part and donate as well, I will be in a comfortable position to drive the narrative of hope and win the race.

One person can change the world. I can change Nigeria and I have a history of turning complicated situations, simple.

As your Senator, it won't take me rocket science to turn things around for good for Nigerians. It's about vision aided by wisdom. My works speak for me. Not the name or label of my political party or the size of my wallet or bank account. Let ideas, wisdom, and audacity rule.

My 2012 essay, titled "Immunity: The Scope and Extent of Section 308 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria" played a significant role in the retention of the Immunity Clause in our constitution by the 2014 Constitution Review Committee. https://www.esanland.org/2016/06/immunity.html

Also, the hugely successful Almajiri Educational Integrative Initiative implemented by President Goodluck Jonathan's administration (Quran on the one hand regular education on the other) was my in-class presentation as a graduate student at Harvard University.

And recently, I laid the foundation for the ongoing breakthrough in the pipeline surveillance campaign in the Niger Delta, as well as the improved production capacity of crude oil by the NNPC. That's the attitude - progressive attitude - that I'm bringing to the Senate.

Please, see (1) "Nigeria is Worth Saving." By Alex Ehi Aidaghese, May 31, 2022, and "Is Nigeria Worth Saving?" By Alex Ehi Aidaghese, August 17, 2022. The essays are available here.

After the publication of Part Two of the essay, NNPC was forced to address Nigerians at a press briefing and lamented how about 80% of our crude oil production (about 700 Barrels of crude oil per day) is going to private pockets.

The wisdom and the audacity of the two essays compelled the negotiation of the Mr. Monday Tompolo Pipelines Surveillance contract. So far, hundreds of illegally connected pipelines have been discovered and dismantled. Thus, enabling us to save Hundreds of Millions of Dollars of crude oil revenues every day.

My fellow Esan men and women, ideas move a nation forward. And I have a lot to give in the service of my fatherland and my beloved people of Esanland.

IF YOU COULD STAND BY ME, SUPPORT ME IN MY CAMPAIGN, AND VOTE FOR ME, NIGERIA WILL BE ON ITS WAY TO A SUSTAINABLE EMANCIPATION AND UNCONQUERABLE GREATNESS AND MY ESANLAD WILL BOUNCE BACK TO A THRIVING COMMERCIAL HUB IN THE HEART OF NIGERIA.
