SHALAMAR June 14, 2023

"Make That Move" by Shalamar (1980) was the height of Disco. And more than 40 years later, it is still like yesterday.

Jody Watley was the first to break away from the group, and she had a successful solo career briefly after. Jeffrey Daniel is based in London, England, and married to a Nigerian lady. Howard Hewett is still doing his thing, performing all over the US and Europe. The last time we saw them together was in 1996, with Babyface (Edmond) and LL Cool J, performing "This Is For the Lover in You."
