The Search for a FEMI FALANA and the Audacity of Rule of Law in Nigeria Criminal Justice System. June 11, 2023

Like the efficient American FBI, Nigeria, in a similar strength, can boast of its efficient DSS - they are good. However, what we cannot boast of in the scope of America, is a fearless, selfless, energetic, dedicated, and resulted-oriented Justice Ministry Team. And that is why the search and demand for a Mr. Femi Falana (SAN) to head the Nigerian Ministry of Justice at this point is a demand well-made and in good conscience.

Adding to that, he will help to breathe life into the EFCC Case Management and Legal Strategy mechanisms that are seemingly nonexistent or moribund. The earlier President Asiwaju Bola Tinubu does that, the better for his budding administration and Nigeria as a nation-state in the war against white-collar crime.
This demand is in good faith, and it is more than bringing credibility and audacity to the Ministry of Justice; it is packed with a culture of deterrent (knowing that you will go to jail if you commit a crime) and a philosophy of accountability (no longer business as usual) that is sustainable and, at the same time, enjoying a nationwide embrace.
Anyway, watch the indictment of the former President of the United States of America, Mr. Donald Trump, as it's unfolding. And that's true justice and the audacity of the rule of law the whole world is watching.

"Our laws that protect national defense information are critical to the safety and security of the United States and they must be enforced."
