Until we provide a Railway transportation system on Lekki/Ajah/Epe Highway, there is nothing we can do to eliminate the provocative gridlock on that corridor. The same applies to Oshodi/Mile2/Badagry Expressway.
The picture below speaks volumes. Even though you have a major highway and two local roads on both sides, there is still a railway line to ease the traffic- you can see a train on the left side of the major highway. A bold vision is not stupid. Nigeria is worth saving. And until we begin to fathom traces of sustainable development on the ground, we will continue talking.
If you cannot complete the Mile2/Badagry Expressway, for instance, in four years, and no one is going to jail or being locked up without trial, with all dure respect and apology to former President Lee Khuan Yew of Singapore, then something is dangerously wrong with our leadership and our criminal justice system - specifically, ICPC, EFCC, and the Ministry of Justice.
