They labeled him misogynistic. Why not? The usual crime (sexual harassment) doesn't fit. He is gay.
They couldn't cook up allegations of sexual assault, molestation, or harassment at the workplace against him, knowing such allegations won't fly.
And a Variety magazine went to town, searching for damaging information to demystify Don and nail him to the cross.
It all comes down to echoing Mr. Donald Trump, who reportedly sent his boys to Kenya to unravel the mystery that shrouded President Obama's birth certificate.
And they discovered something big. Mr. Don Lemon was allegedly rude to a co-anchor about fifteen years ago, and just recently, allegedly chastised another co-anchor for interrupting him, and subsequently opined that a presidential candidate is not in her prime. What a blasphemy! He must go. It's time.
Mr. Don is articulate, brilliant, fiercely objective, and strikingly handsome, but thank God he is gay. Otherwise, he would have been long gone from CNN.
Being Gay, was what saved him over the years and why he stayed that long on CNN. They couldn't find any reason to dispense with him, so they invented misogyny.
Anyway, I'm happy for CNN; the network doesn't need to cough out millions of dollars in settlement for sexual harassment suits provoked by Mr. Don Lemon.
My dear Don, wherever you go from here or whatever you choose to do next, my prayers are always with you. Bless are the meek for they shall inherit the earth. God will vindicate you, brother. Good luck.
